For a fun place to shop and eat, why not try out this wacky looking place! Krzywy Domek (or Crooked House) is a combination of a shopping centre, restaurants and offices located in Sopot, Poland. Don’t worry, your eyes are not playing funny tricks on you. Nor have you had too much to drink. There are no straight lines anywhere on this building- it’s all fun curves and slants! It was built in 2004 and designed by Szotynscy & Zaleski. It is said they got their inspiration from Polish fairytale illustrations drawn by Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg. It has been described as many different things such as ‘mind boggling’, a house that ‘looks like it’s dancing’ and ‘cartoon crazy’. We love it! What do you think?
