Two years ago, Andrei Chivote teamed up with his friend, Radu Nita, to make a lamp out of old headlights that Chivote had discovered in his garage. The duo had no thoughts of selling the lamp, they just made it for fun, although they paid close attention to all the elements they decided they wanted in a lamp… ergonomics and a unique design included. What they came up with they later dubbed 'The Lampster'. Chivote ended up quitting his job and putting the awesome 'Robo-Lamp' prototype on 'Kickstarter' to raise funds for production, which were easily obtained. Made out of old tractor headlights, the lamp has two light sources, a clear one, controlled by touch and an RGB one controlled by mobile. The latter can change the color and intensity of light from anywhere in the room. The lamps even come with customizable extras! Take a look!
