It all started with the Coffee Mate Snickers and Dove Dark Chocolate Almond flavored creamers. With these innovations, Nestle and Mars allowed us to enjoy two of the things we love the most – coffee and candy. Now, these two food companies are again making our dreams come true with the new Twix and Snickers Chocolate Milks. Seriously, who could possibly resist the idea of a candy that you can drink? To top it off, it’s two of our most favorite candy bars in the world. Finally, we can now enjoy our favorite chocolate bars in drinkable form.
Mars announced that the new Twix and Snickers Chocolate Milks will hit the shelves nationwide this month. So, expect to see these new confectionery beverages in stores anytime now. Prior to its official release, people have been pondering what these chocolate milks have to offer. So, here’s a sneak peek of the Twix and Snickers Chocolate Milks. First off is the Twix-flavored chocolate milk. It has the same chocolate-caramel flavor as the chocolate bar along with some cookie goodness.
On the other hand, the Snickers-flavored chocolate milk has a chocolaty-nutty flavor with a hint of caramel. Just imagine several bars of Snickers melting altogether into a liquid form, that’s exactly how it tastes.
There’s no question that these new chocolate milks will get an A+ when it comes to flavor. But how about their nutritional values? Like most people, your major concern is probably about its sugar content. This is totally understandable since the original chocolate bars are already loaded with it to begin with. So, here’s the nutritional fact. Each 414 ml bottle contains 41 grams of sugar, which is equivalent to two-full sized bars of Twix or Snickers. Furthermore, each bottle of chocolate milk contains 270 calories, 4.5 grams of fat, and 46 grams of carbohydrates. But the good thing is, both flavors are made with real milk that provides 50% of our daily calcium needs. Moreover, our body could also benefit from its 14 grams of protein content.
Can we all now agree that we all need calcium to make our bones healthier and stronger? Let’s just turn a blind eye on the sugar, calories and carbs for the meantime. It won’t do us harm if we dive into our guilty pleasures from time to time. It’s only a matter of time before they officially roll out to the market. So, get ready to indulge in it when they’re finally available in stores nationwide. Each bottle retails at $2.49.
