Photographer, John Sanderson, from New York City, has a fetish for snapping locomotives. They have to be a particular type of locomotive, mind you, specifically the streamlined ones that were designed during the 1930's, 40's and 50's! Sanderson's obsession with the trains has seen him travel all over the USA, in search of subject material. Below we have a collection of his striking photographs of vintage locomotives. Some are in museums, others are still operational, while there are some rusting and decaying, having been abandoned long ago for newer technology. No matter their condition, Sanderson has love for them all! And, his photographs are really quite something! Check them out!
