Chinese artist Yang Maoyuan's sculptures are like nothing you've ever seen. That's because they're made out of the skins of dead animals, which Maoyuan inflates massively, often dyeing the hides in lurid colors, too. First he stitches and processes the skins, then he blows them up to huge circular shapes, which are meant to represent harmony in China. Horses, goats and sheep are the artist's favorite mediums. In some of the sculptures Maoyuan gives the sheep or other animals two or three heads, making them even more creepy! Check out his work below!
